The University of Michigan has self-imposed a three-game suspension for head football coach Jim Harbaugh in the midst of an NCAA investigation into Harbaugh reportedly committing recruiting violations and lying to investigators.
Harbaugh will miss the first three games of the season, all at home, against East Carolina (9/2), UNLV (9/9), and Bowling Green (9/16) and will be allowed to return for the Big Ten opener at home against Rutgers on 9/23.
The question now becomes….who will be the interim head coach on game days during Harbaugh’s absence?
