The Detroit Lions capped off the 2023 preseason slate with a road win over the Carolina Panthers as the reserves played a better brand of football compared to the previous week at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

One notable backup that bounced back from the previous week as Teddy Bridgewater, who completed 13 of 22 passes for 178 yards and a long passing touchdown to Antoine Green.

Detroit finishes the exhibition portion of their schedule with a 2-1 record.

Next up, it’s on to the regular season as the Lions hit the road to take on the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, September 7th at 8:20 pm.
