Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week

Michigan junior quarterback J.J. McCarthy has been tabbed by the Big Ten Conference as the Offensive Player of the Week after going 14-of-17 passing for 222 yards and three touchdowns to go with 27 rushing yards on 10 carries in the 52-7 trouncing of Indiana this past Saturday afternoon in Ann Arbor.

This season, McCarthy has completed nearly 79 percent of his passes for 1,512 yards to go with 14 passing touchdowns and only 3 interceptions while also rushing for 160 yards and 3 touchdowns.
