Detroit Lions signal caller Jared Goff has been named by the National Football League as the NFC Player of the Week following his individual performance in the 20-6 road victory over Tampa Bay this past Sunday.

Through six games this season, the 29-year-old Goff has totaled nearly 70% completion percentage to go with 1,618 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, and only 3 interceptions.
