Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week

Make it back-to-back Big Ten Conference weekly accolades for Michigan junior quarterback J.J. McCarthy in locking up the conference’s Co-Offensive Player of the Week honor following his impressive performance this past Saturday night at Michigan State.

McCarthy completed 21-of-27 passes for 287 yards and four touchdowns in the 49-0 shutout victory over the Spartans to push his totals up to a 78.1 completion percentage to go with 1,799 passing yards and 18 touchdowns to only 3 interceptions.
