It was a wild offensive shootout this past Sunday in L.A. as the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Chargers exchanged body blows and eventually came down to whoever had the football last in regulation.
Fortunately, it would be those Lions that would hold on to the football last and kick the game-winning field goal at the buzzer to shock the host Chargers.
With the win, the Lions improve to 7-2 overall on the season and keep pace at the top of the NFC North holding a game and a half lead over the suddenly surging Minnesota Vikings, who are 6-4 on the season.
Detroit returns home to Ford Field this Sunday to battle another NFC North foe in the 3-7 Chicago Bears at 1 pm.
