The Detroit Tigers continue to try and stockpile arms in preparation for the upcoming 2024 season in signing righty Jack Flaherty to a one-year contract.

The 28-year-old Flaherty spent 2023 with both the St. Louis Cardinals and Baltimore Orioles compiling an 8-9 record in 144 1/3 innings pitched to go with a 4.99 ERA, 148 strikeouts, and 66 walks.

The California native spent the better part of six seasons with the Cardinals after being drafted by St. Louis in the first-round (34th overall) during the 2014 MLB Draft.
