Michigan rallies late to upend Alabama in the Rose Bowl and earn first-ever bid to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game

What a game it was.

Down 20-13 with just over 4:30 remaining in the Rose Bowl, the #1-ranked Michigan Wolverines put forth an 8-play, 75-yard drive to even the game at 20-20 against the #4-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide and eventually push the game into overtime.

From there, the Wolverines found paydirt quickly in the first overtime on the second play from scrimmage and used a goal line stand defensively to stun the Crimson Tide and claim a 27-20 overtime victory to reach the College Football Playoff National Championship Game for the first time in program history.
