Troy Weaver and the Detroit Pistons have decided to move on from both Marvin Bagley III and Isaiah Livers in sending them and two second-draft picks (2025 and 2026) to the Washington Wizards in exchange for two expiring veteran contracts in Danilo Gallinari and Mike Muscala.

The 24-year-old Bagley appeared in 86 games for the Pistons totaling 12 PPG and 5.9 RPG while shooting 55% from the floor.

The 25-year old Livers played in 94 games with Detroit tallying 6.2 PPG and 2.6 RPG while shooting just under 41% from the field.

The deal unloads $12.5 million in Bagley’s guaranteed money for 2024-25 off the books for the Pistons while creating more cap space for the upcoming offseason.
