It didn’t take long, and it wasn’t a surprise to anyone, but Michigan Football has its new head football coach in Sherrone Moore, who takes over for the departing Jim Harbaugh.
Last season, Moore went a perfect 4-0 as the interim head coach during Harbaugh’s two suspensions at the beginning and end of the regular season that includes beating Penn State (road) and Ohio State (home).
The complete university release of Sherrone Moore being named Michigan’s new head football coach can be found here.
In addition, Harbaugh is reportedly taking two Michigan assistants with him to the Los Angeles Chargers in defensive coordinator Jesse Minter and strength and conditioning coach Ben Herbert.
As of right now, Sherrone Moore has replaced Herbert with the promotion of Justin Tress.
