After a dominating first half that saw the Detroit Lions carry a 24-7 halftime lead during Sunday’s NFC Championship Game on the road against the San Francisco 49ers, the Lions fell victim to bad execution in the second half resulting in getting outscored by a 27-7 margin during the final 30 minutes of play falling by a 34-31 decision to fall short of representing the NFC in the Super Bowl out in Las Vegas.
The Lions end their incredible 2023 season with an NFC North crown, two home playoff wins, and reaching the NFC Championship Game for the first time since the 1991 season.
However, not all is lost as we already look ahead towards the 2024 season:
Maybe Aaron Glenn sticks around as well?
Only time will tell…..
