The Detroit Tigers have shipped infielder Nick Maton to the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for cash considerations.

The soon-to-be 27-year-old Maton tallied 43 hits in 293 plate appearances last season with the Tigers after spending the previous two seasons with the Philadelphia Phillies.
