Another tough week has the Tigers falling further below the .500 mark

As we officially hit the month of July, pretty much all Detroit Tigers fans have moved on to the 2025 season as the team continues to find new ways to lose ball games other than their toothless offense.

Last week saw the Tigers go 2-5 that featured losing a pair of series at home against the Philadelphia Phillies (1-2) and on the road against the Los Angeles Angels (1-3).

Now, Detroit sits at 38-46 overall and way behind the top three teams in the American League Central in the Cleveland Guardians (15 games back), Minnesota Twins (9 games back), and Kansas City Royals (8 games back).

At least there was an inside-the-park home run hit by the Tigers to give the fans a bit of excitement on Sunday:

This was pretty cool too:

As for this week, the Tigers are on the road for two three-game sets against the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday-Thursday and Cincinnati Reds on Friday- Sunday.
