Tarik Skubal goes one scoreless, Riley Greene gets two plate appearances in A.L. All-Star Game win over N.L.

The American League has now won ten of the last eleven MLB All-Star Games following their 5-3 comeback victory over the National League on Tuesday night as a pair of Tigers in Tarik Skubal and Riley Greene saw limited action throughout the night.

Skubal pitched the top of the second inning and threw a one-two-three inning needing only ten pitches to complete the brief outing.

Greene entered the contest halfway through in left field and had two plate appearances resulting in a deep flyout to center field in his first at-bat followed by striking out swinging in his second plate appearance.

However, Greene did have a nice defensive gem during the top of the seventh inning:

The Tigers begin second half play on Friday night in Toronto as they kick off a three-game road series against the Blue Jays.
