Tigers come out of the All-Star Break with a road series win in Toronto

Make it four straight series victories for the Detroit Tigers after taking two of three over the weekend in Canada against the Toronto Blue Jays to begin the second half as they continue to inch closer towards the .500 mark overall on the season.

They still have quite a bit of work to do, but the Tigers now find themselves at 49-51 overall and six games out of a Wild Card spot in the American League

The storyline during this recent surge has been, believe it or not, the offense:

Detroit now embarks on a pivotal stretch in its schedule with 13 straight against A.L. Central opponents that gets going this week with four games in Cleveland against the first-place Guardians on Monday-Thursday followed by a three-game home series this weekend on Friday-Sunday against the second-place Minnesota Twins.
