Two of the best in the Detroit Tigers’ current farm system have received a promotion from the Single-A Lakeland Flying Tigers to the High-A West Michigan Whitecaps.
Max Clark is currently ranked as the top prospect in the Tigers farm system, while Kevin McGonigle ranks as the fourth-best prospect.
This season with Lakeland, the 19-year-old Clark hit .286 with 7 HR and 58 RBI to go with 26 stolen bases, 48 walks, and 58 strikeouts, while the soon-to-be 20-year-old McGonigle batted .326 with 4 HR and 37 RBI to go with 20 stolen bases, 35 walks, and only 24 strikeouts.
