NCAA notice of allegations draft says new Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore violated rules

The NCAA has drafted a notice of allegations in regards to the alleged sign stealing scandal surrounding the Michigan Football team, and new head coach Sherrone Moore has been accused of committing rule violations involving former staffer Connor Stalions and his sign stealing scheme.

According to the ESPN article, Moore is accused of committing a Level II violation for allegedly deleting a thread of 52 text messages with Stalions in October 2023 on the same day that media reports revealed Stalions was leading an effort to capture the playcalling signals of future opponents.

Former Michigan staff members Jim Harbaugh, Chris Partridge, Denard Robinson, and Stalions are also accused of committing Level 1 violations, the most serious category in the NCAA’s enforcement process.
