Lions’ Jack Fox named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Detroit Lions veteran punter Jack Fox was tabbed by the National Football League (NFL) as the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week following his punting performance in the 20-13 road victory against the Arizona Cardinals.

During last Sunday’s win, the 28-year-old Fox punted five times for a net average of 49.4 yards while also pinning the Cardinals inside their own 20 yard line four times.

The fifth-year pro has punted 11 times through three games this season for a net average of 49.5 yards and includes a 68-yard kick last Sunday and punting inside the 20 on 8 of his 11 punts.
