Lions destroy Cowboys in “Jerry’s World,” lose Aidan Hutchinson to a broken leg

Statement made.

The Detroit Lions came off the Bye Week ready to exact some revenge on the Dallas Cowboys after what happened during last season’s loss down in Dallas.

Long story short, the Lions left absolutely no doubt during Sunday’s emphatic road victory which, by the way, happened to be on Jerry Jones’ 82nd birthday:

However, the Lions did lose one key player in Aidan Hutchinson for the foreseeable future after suffering a broken leg early in the second half:

The question now is….does Brad Holmes make a move to help fill the void at the edge rusher position, or do they stick with who they currently have on the roster?

With the win, the Lions improve to 4-1 on the season and get set for their NFC North showdown of the season as they hit the road to Minneapolis to take on the 5-0 Minnesota Vikings this Sunday at 1 pm.
