GVSU Basketball Weekly Update: Laker Women continue to dominate, Men split opening weekend at home

It was a busy weekend at the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena in Allendale with four games in three days as the Grand Valley State Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams both played a pair of games against teams out of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

When all was said and done, the #3-ranked GVSU Women cruised to a pair of dominate victories on Saturday and Sunday, while the Men opened up the season with a convincing victory on Friday and losing in heartbreaking fashion on Sunday at the buzzer.
