Detroit Lions kicker Jake Bates has earned the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week recognition for the second time this season after nailing the game-tying and game-winning field goals during Sunday night’s 26-23 come-from-behind victory in Houston against the Texans.
This season, the 25-year-old Bates has made 32-of-33 extra point attempts along with all 14 field goal kicks that includes a career-long of 58 yards.
