The Detroit Tigers and reigning American League Cy Young Award winner Tarik Skubal have come to terms on a salary for the upcoming 2025 season to avoid arbitration.
The Tigers have also come to terms on their remaining arbitration-eligible players for 2025:
Skubal’s 2024 Cy Young season consisted of the 28-year-old compiling an 18-4 record to go with a 2.39 ERA, 228 strikeouts, and only 35 walks in 192 innings pitched during the regular season.
