Tigers re-sign Jack Flaherty to a two-year contract

He’s back.

The Detroit Tigers are bringing back a well-known member of last year’s starting pitching staff on a two-year deal with an opt out clause after the 2025 season.

Last season before getting traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers at the trade deadline, the 29-year-old Flaherty posted a 7-5 record in Detroit to go with a 2.95 ERA in 106 2/3 innings pitched, 133 strikeouts, and only 19 walks.
