The NCAA Tournament has finally arrived this week as both the Michigan Wolverines and Michigan State Spartans both placed themselves comfortably in the Field of 68 after Michigan claimed a Big Ten Tournament Championship over the weekend, while Michigan State earned the Big Ten Regular Season crown by three games.
As a result, the Wolverines were seeded as the #5 seed in the South Region and will begin their NCAA Tournament journey late Thursday night in Denver, while the Spartans landed the #2 seed in the South Region and kick off their tournament run late Friday night in Cleveland.
Could we see a possible Elite Eight matchup between these two rivals in Atlanta?
Hey, it could happen…..
