It’s been a long and painful first season for Dan Campbell as head coach of the Detroit Lions winning just a couple of games and staring down a top two pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. To add to the forgettable 2021 season, the Lions have been marred with injuries and players dealing with COVID protocols.
However, not all is lost as the Lions have shown progression in certain areas, especially following their Bye Week, and Jared Goff has even progressed to the point where he can (maybe) be a serviceable enough quarterback for this franchise in the short term.
As many people have stated before, this is a FULL BLOWN REBUILD from the top on down, and many expected this year’s Lions team to be one of the worst in the NFL this season.
The question remains….is this rebuild under Campbell and General Manager Brad Holmes going to be successful one? Well, one publication thinks that the Lions might just be on to something with their current state of the rebuild:
Do you buy into what The Ringer is trying to sell? Do the Detroit Lions offer a glimmer of hope based on how their rebuild is going?
