It appears that the Detroit Lions are going to be playing every game during the 2022 season on U.S. soil.

The NFL recently announced some of the teams that will be participating in the upcoming slate of international games next season, and based on the list of opponents for 2022 (NFC North opponents twice, AFC East, NFC East, Jacksonville, Seattle, and Carolina), the Lions will not take part in any of the five games, unless an unexpected Detroit-Green Bay matchup overseas happens.

The complete Detroit Lions 2022 schedule, both regular season and preseason, will be released at a later date.
