When Detroit Lions General Manager Brad Holmes said that they were “open for business” this offseason, he meant it.
In a recent media hit, Holmes did specify that the Lions have been taking phone calls from other teams about their #2 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft:
The Lions currently hold two first round picks at #2 and #32 overall in this year’s draft.
As for free agency, Holmes defended how they went about bringing back many players from this past season:
