Former NBA Sharpshooter JJ Redick Says The Pistons Will Be One Of The East’s Best Teams In 2-3 Years

In just a few short years, Detroit Pistons General Manager Troy Weaver has completely torn down and rebuilt the roster with multiple young players led by Cade Cunningham, Killian Hayes, Isaiah Stewart, and Saddiq Bey to go with recent draft additions in Jaden Ivey and Jalen Duren.

It’s been a rough couple of seasons for the Pistons as Weaver has had to navigate around bad contracts signed during the Stan Van Gundy era while trying to restock the cupboard with draft assets.

Now, many Pistons fans out there see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel and believe this team can compete for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference as early as this upcoming season, even though the current roster is still one of the youngest, if not the youngest, in the entire NBA.

One current ESPN analyst and former NBA sharpshooter is apparently all-in on the Troy Weaver rebuild and sees the Pistons as a potential Eastern Conference Champion in two or three years.

Pistons fans, do you buy into what JJ Redick is trying to sell on Detroit being East contenders a few seasons down the road?
