The Detroit Tigers struck a pre-Trade Deadline deal following last night’s loss in Minnesota in sending Robbie Grossman to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for minor league pitcher Kris Anglin.
Anglin, the Bakersfield, California native, was selected by the Braves in the 16th-round of the 2021 MLB Draft and has spent most of this season in rookie ball with the Florida Complex League Braves.
Grossman appeared in 239 games with the Tigers since coming over as a free agent in 2021 hitting .228 with 25 home runs and 90 RBIs.
