The Detroit Pistons rebuild has hit a possible major speed bump with the recent announcement of Cade Cunningham to undergo season-ending shin surgery.
Cunningham, the #1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, appeared in 12 games this season for Detroit averaging 19.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 6 assists per contest.
The 21-year-old has not played since November 9th at Boston.
