The Eastern Michigan Eagles put a bow on a successful 2022 season last night with a fourteen-point victory over the San Jose State Spartans in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl out in Boise, Idaho.

The Eagles finished the 2022 season with a 9-4 record that included capturing the Michigan MAC Trophy and picking up their second bowl victory in program history. Their first bowl win came back on December 12th, 1987 in the California Bowl out in Fresno, California against, of all teams, San Jose State (won 30-27).
