According to a report from the Detroit News, an announcement is expected soon in regards to Ford Field in downtown serving as the host site for the United States Football League’s (USFL) Michigan Panthers home games during the 2023 season.
The report above also states that Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti could be a possible site to hold USFL practices throughout the season.
The USFL is entering its second season of operation beginning in April with the regular season lasting through June and the playoffs taking place in July.
