The Detroit Lions have not played a game overseas in seven years, but that could all be changing for the upcoming 2023 season.

The Lions have played in two international games all-time, both at Wembley Stadium in London, beating the Atlanta Falcons on October 26th, 2014 by a 22-21 final and losing to the Kansas City Chiefs on November 1st, 2015 by a 45-10 decision.

If this were to take place, the Lions would be the road team against the defending Super Bowl Champions.
