The Detroit Red Wings have locked up one of their top defenseman in Jake Walman for three more seasons.
The 27-year-old Walman has appeared in 59 games with the Red Wings since coming to Detroit via a trade last season from the St. Louis Blues totaling five goals and nine assists to go with a plus-eleven rating.
