For right now, the Detroit Lions are bringing back a familiar face to fill the backup quarterback role behind Jared Goff.

The 29-year-old native of California spent last season backing up Goff in Detroit and appeared in just two games not attempting a pass and getting sacked once.

The question now is…..will Sudfeld be the backup quarterback come the first game of the 2023 regular season?
