The Detroit Red Wings have signed another recent draft pick in defenseman William Wallinder to an entry-level contract that begins in the 2023-24 season.
Wallinder, the 20-year-old native of Sweden, was drafted by the Red Wings in the second-round (32nd overall) during the 2020 NHL Entry Draft and has spent the last two seasons playing professionally with Rogle BK totaling 49 points (13 goals and 36 assists) in 119 games played.
