The third-ranked Michigan Wolverines Hockey team was unable to take that next step forward in this year’s Frozen Four down in Tampa, Florida as a three-goal third period by the second-seeded Quinnipiac Bobcats doomed the Wolverines in the national semifinals.

Last season, the top-seeded Wolverines fell in the national semifinals to eventual National Champion Denver by a 3-2 overtime decision over in Boston.

Michigan ends the 2022-23 season with a 26-12-3 overall record that includes a Big Ten Tournament Championship for the second consecutive season.
