The Detroit Lions have decided to move on from a former top three NFL Draft pick in cornerback Jeff Okudah, who has been dealt to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft.
The 24-year-old Okudah was drafted by the Lions with the #3 overall pick out of Ohio State during the 2020 NFL Draft and appeared in just 25 games totaling 124 tackles (103 solo) and two interceptions.
Okudah played in 15 of the 17 games this past season after missing 23 games the first two seasons due to multiple injuries.
