We’ve hit the Memorial Day holiday, and the Detroit Tigers are….just ONE GAME BACK of first-place in the American League Central????

Yep, you read that correctly!

Following a 5-2 week that included series victories over divisional foes the Kansas City Royals (two of three on the road) and Chicago White Sox (three of four at home), the scrappy Tigers have put the league on notice for the time being and sit just a game below the .500 mark at 25-26 overall.

As we conclude the month of May and enter a new month in June, here’s who the Tigers have lined up going into this week:

Monday-Wednesday: vs. Texas Rangers (Comerica Park)
Friday-Sunday: at Chicago White Sox (Guaranteed Rate Field)
