After signing a one-year deal for just over $1 million to return to the Detroit Lions roughly four months ago, kicker Michael Badgley is no longer a member of the Lions.
The soon-to-be 28-year-old Badgley appeared in 12 games for the Lions last season after beginning the year with the Chicago Bears going 20-for-24 on field goal attempts and making all 33 extra point kicks.
Detroit currently has two kickers on the roster in John Parker Romo and Riley Patterson.
