Lions capture first division title since 1993 in road win over Minnesota, suffer controversial road loss in Dallas

The last two weeks for the Detroit Lions began with the ultimate high in capturing their first-ever NFC North crown and first division title since 1993 roughly two weeks ago in Minnesota followed by experiencing the ultimate low in an overturned potential game-winning two-point conversion that went against them this past Saturday in Dallas.

From the win against the Minnesota Vikings:

From the controversial loss on the road against the Dallas Cowboys:

With one week left in the regular season, the 11-5 Lions seem all but locked into the #3 seed in the NFC but can still sneak in to the #2 seed if the following happens this weekend:

  • Lions beat Vikings
  • Eagles lose @ Giants
  • Cowboys lose @ Commanders

The Lions conclude the regular season at home this Sunday at 1 pm against the Minnesota Vikings, who need a win and some help to get into the playoffs with their current 7-9 record.
