Because of their individual success on the field throughout the 2023 season, five players on the Detroit Lions have earned Pro Bowl recognition this season for the NFC in Frank Ragnow, Penei Sewell, Sam LaPorta, Aidan Hutchinson, and Jalen Reeves-Maybin.
Ragnow was selected to his third career Pro Bowl, while Penei Sewell is in the Pro Bowl roster for the second straight season. Hutchinson, LaPorta, and Reeves-Maybin make the Pro Bowl for the first time in their respective careers.
In addition, seven Lions players make the NFC Pro Bowl alternate list, which means they could still make the final roster as replacements if the players ahead of them at their positions drop out of the event.
The list of Lions alternates are:
- RB Jahmyr Gibbs (1st alternate)
- WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (1st alternate)
- QB Jared Goff (2nd alternate)
- G Jonah Jackson (3rd alternate)
- RB David Montgomery (4th alternate)
- KR Kalif Raymond (4th alternate)
- LB Alex Anzalone (5th alternate)
Lastly, this looks nice hanging in the rafters at Ford Field, doesn’t it?
