The Detroit Pistons (finally) have a new president of basketball operations following the hiring of Trajan Langdon after recently serving as the general manager of the New Orleans Pelicans.
The 48-year-old Langdon played portions of three seasons in the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers from 1999-2002 after being selected with the 11th overall pick during the 1999 NBA Draft.
Langdon then played eight seasons overseas in Europe with Benetton, Efes Pilsen, and CSKA Moscow.
Following his playing days, Langdon was a scout for the San Antonio Spurs from 2012-15; the assistant general manager for the Brooklyn Nets from 2016-19; and the general manager for the Pelicans from 2019-24.
