Michigan State freshman wide receiver Nick Marsh has been named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week following his performance this past Saturday in the 27-24 road victory at Maryland.

The freshman from Detroit also received national recognition:

Through two games, Marsh has pulled in 9 catches for 205 yards and a touchdown.
