Lions’ red zone issues the main story in home loss to Tampa Bay

The Detroit Lions led almost every statistical category during their home battle against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a rematch of last season’s Divisional Round matchup at Ford Field, but they unfortunately didn’t have the upper hand in the most important stat, the final score.

The Lions drop to 1-1 overall on the season, while the Bucs improved to 2-0.

The big storyline from the loss was the Lions’ inability to consistency get touchdowns inside the Buccaneers’ 20 yard line, but there was one massive bright spot on the defensive side from a former Michigan Wolverine:

Next Sunday, the Lions hit the road for the first time this season as they head west out to the desert to take on Kyler Murray and the 1-1 Arizona Cardinals at 4:25 pm.
