The third NFL season for Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson has gotten off to a (very) promising start, so much that the league decided to name him the NFC Defensive Player of the Month for September.

During the four September games, the former Michigan Wolverine totaled 16 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, 14 quarterback hits, and a forced fumble that included a 4.5-sack performance in the Week 2 contest at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
