Detroit Lions defensive back Brian Branch has been recognized by the National Football League (NFL) as the NFC Defensive Player of the Week following his two-interception performance during last Sunday’s dominant victory in Dallas against the Cowboys.

This season, the 22-year-old second-year pro out of Alabama has totaled 28 tackles (21 solo), 2 tackles for loss, and 3 interceptions.
