Western Michigan claims first hockey National Championship in program history in first trip to Frozen Four

In their first-ever trip to the Frozen Four in program history, the Western Michigan Broncos have captured its first hockey National Championship after a pair of victories over defending National Champion Denver in the Frozen Four followed by a convincing win over Boston University during Saturday’s night National Championship Game.

The Broncos end their magical 2024-25 season with a 34-7-1 overall record (19-4-1 NCHC) and finish the campaign on a ten-game winning streak.
