The Detroit Lions and star safety Kerby Joseph have agreed on a new four-year contract extension that currently makes the All-Pro the highest paid safety in NFL history.
The 24-year-old Joseph was a third round pick by the Lions (97th overall) during the 2022 NFL Draft out of Illinois and led the NFL last season with nine interceptions.
In his first three NFL season, Joseph has totaled 17 interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown this past season.
