Veteran wide receiver Tim Patrick will sign with the Detroit Lions after he did not make the Denver Broncos’ initial 53-man roster Tuesday, DenverSports.com and ESPN reported.Patrick is expected to join the Lions’ practice squad and work his way onto their active roster, according to ESPN.Patrick, 30, was a former starter for Denver but has not played since 2021 after suffering multiple injuries. He tore his ACL during a training camp practice in 2022 and then tore an Achilles in July 2023.
